Port and Richmond have played in two finals. A famous elimination final in 2014 where Richmond kicked against the wind and were on the way home by quarter time. And the 2020 Preliminary Final where Richmond narrowly won on the way to another Grand Final.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), also known as “The ‘G”, is located in Yarra Park, Melbourne, Victoria. Run by the Melbourne Cricket Club, it is the largest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere, the 11th largest in the world, and the second largest cricket ground.

Since it was built in 1853, the MCG has had many Grandstands come and go. It was the main stadium of the 1956 Olympic Games, the 2006 Commonwealth Games and three Cricket World Cups, 50 overs in 1992 and 2015 and recently the 2022 20/20 event.

The Port Adelaide Football Club were founded in 1870 and wear the colours black, white, teal and silver. The Power training facilities are at Alberton Oval and home matches are played at Adelaide Oval.

The Richmond Tigers were founded in 1885 and wear the colours black and yellow. The Tigers training facilities are at Punt Road and home matches are played at the MCG.
