Marvel Stadium, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in the Melbourne Docklands, Completed in 2020, the stadium has a retractable roof and moveable ground level seating to enable the stadium to hold oval and rectangular sports.
With a capacity for 53,000 spectators, the stadium is the second-largest in Melbourne and has hosted many AFL matches plus other sporting events including Twenty20 cricket matches, soccer, rugby, cricket, concerts and other special events.
Unlike most AFL grounds which were built as cricket venues, Marvel Stadium was built as an Australian Rules Football venue.
